Bishop's Stortford Business Connections - BSBC - was formed by a group of local people with the same goals of improving business through recommendation.

Meetings are held twice a month at The Rhodes Centre in Bishop's Stortford in a mainly unstructured environment where business men and women create a forum to develop personal relationships and pass business with dozens of other qualified and skilled business people.

Each member is given an opportunity to take the floor to promote their business or to share their experience, support and ideas with their fellows.

On occasion guest speakers are invited from the local community and beyond to attend the meetings, to give information on changes in policies, laws, etc. Other occasions have seen an enthusiastic atmosphere of uproar and mayhem as stimulating and controversial topics are hotly debated.

In order to prevent any conflict of interest between members, the Group have chosen to admit only one member from each profession. To ensure high membership standards, each potential member is required to present references before acceptance into the Group.

The cost of membership comprises a non-refundable joining fee of £50 plus £25 per month thereafter (payable by standing order) to include the cost of food. All new members have the opportunity to promote their company on the BSBC website and additionally they can access a private part of the website, to exchange 'connections', use a discussion board, view the calendar of events and share news and promotions.
